Pittsburgh’s Strip District is the perfect destination for your next exploration in the steel city! The a historic neighborhood located along side the Allegheny River is a one-half square mile area running between 12th and 33rd streets and includes main roads, Smallman St., Penn Ave., and Liberty Ave.

With the holiday season quickly approaching us, the hustle-bustle the season brings is in full force in the Strip District. Holiday shops are being constructed along with the signature attractions the neighbor offers such as the Heinz History Center, Wholey’s Fish market, the popular fresh produce market, Grandpa Joe’s Candy shop, etc. Also, there are so many aspects of the neighborhood that people don’t even know about such as the handmade products or live street musicians.

The Strip District is the perfect destination to explore, especially for college students because the attractions, shops and dinning are very affordable. Make the Strip District, Pittsburgh your next weekend adventure!
